Habitat & hatch

Found in lake littoral zones and reservoirs, most commonly in weedy littoral areas and open water. Littoral vegetation and mud bottom. Emergence in shallow bays and weed edges.

Timing

Strongest surface activity occurs around the morning, and the evening.
